Tour Overview
The first step in your journey is to chart a course for San Salvador de Jujuy. Yala begins the rise and the famous ravine through the access. The greenery will gradually fade away, giving way to the Brittany landscape, which is marked by unusual stratifications that recreate the view through its colors and shapes. For around 30 minutes, you will halt in the town of Purmamarca. The Hill of Seven Colors and the historic Chapel of Santa Rosa de Lima, built in 1648, may be seen from here.
After that, you'll travel to Tilcara, where you'll see the famed Pucara. This historic indigenous fortification is surrounded by a stunning backdrop of multicolored mountains. The excursion continues to Humahuaca, where you can see several geological formations that contribute to the landscape's uniqueness. In Humahuaca, visit the Independence Monument, the Cathedral, and the Municipal Building to see the magnificent streets with colonial characteristics.
You still have time for lunch (not included). There will be intriguing activities on the way back, such as a visit to Uqua's modest chapel. In Cuzco, admire priceless works of magical colonial art and works from the old school of painting.
