Tour Overview
After arriving at the departure point, you will embark on a wonderful panoramic tour that will take you past 11 beaches and two scenic overlook points. The trolley, which is completely open, will provide you with stunning frame-free views, allowing you to feel the fresh breezes and smell the sea.
First, you'll see Armaço Beach, the Brigitte Bardot Statue, and the Three Fishermen Monument. Then you'll come across Praia dos Ossos and Joo Fernandes. The next stop will be Praia do Forno, which is distinguished by its remote location, clear calm waters ideal for snorkeling, and distinctive red sand; this destination is ideal for travelers who appreciate natural spaces "far from everything."
You'll also stop briefly at Ponta da Lagoinha, a place that bordered Africa during the Pangea era, hidden between the beaches of Foca and Ferradura and accessible by a small trail (500m). The area's geological importance - and preservation - is so great that the government of the State of Rio de Janeiro toppled the tip and its rocky shores in 2003. A sign on the site explains the formations and their peculiarities, such as the action of waves and tides to sculpt the granite.
