The adventure begins the moment you step inside Punta Venado, which is located just outside of Playa del Carmen. You'll be greeted with a welcome cocktail and given the opportunity to participate in a wine aroma identification game. Cocktail mixology class takes things up a notch. The first bites are a trio of Maya appetisers, followed by a traditional caldo de piedra soup. Everything is paired with wine.
And we haven't even started yet. Your first main will have a Spanish theme to it. The second main course is inspired by Middle Eastern and African cuisines. Both were paired. What better way to digest your meal than with a tequila and mescal tasting? Dessert brings the evening to a close. Overall, a fantastic blend of gastronomy, storytelling, and hands-on participation.
