Pamukkale & Aphrodisias Day Tour From Istanbul

Pamukkale and Aphrodisias Tour is a full-day trip from Istanbul by plane. It starts early in the morning and finishes late in the evening. The tour covers the ancient ruins in Pamukkale and Aphrodisias, the Ancient Theatre, and the travertines which is thenatural beauty of Pamukkale.

We pick you up from your hotel at around 5:00 and drive to the airport for the domestic flight to Denizli. Our staff will meet you at Denizli Airport and take you to Pamukkale.

Firstly, we visit the ancient city of Aphrodisias, which is one of the most important archaeological sites of the late Hellenistic and Roman period in Turkey. The site is famous for its sanctuary of Aphrodite, and for its marble sculptors, Many monuments of the ancient city still remain standing today and the ongoing excavations have unearthed a great number of marble statues and inscriptions beside the buildings and other artifacts. The first part of the tour ends and we have lunch at a restaurant.

After lunch, we drive to the site of Pamukkale. It is a combination of natural and historical beauties. Pamukkale is on the list of “World’s Cultural Heritages” by UNESCO and attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year. We walk through the ancient ruins, see the ancient city of Hierapolis, Necropolis, the ancient Theatre, Roman Bath, Agora. Then we enjoy our time in the travertines and the pool of Cleopatra. You will have leisure time to swim there.

Pamukkale and Aphrodisias Day Trip ends at around 17:00 and then we drive to Denizli Airport for the evening flight back to Istanbul. On arrival in Istanbul, our staff will meet you at the airport and drop you off at your hotel.
