Yildiz Palace:is a vast complex of former imperial Ottoman pavilions and villas in Istanbul, Turkey, built in the 19th and early 20th centruries, It was used as a residence by the Sultan and his court in the late 19th century. Yildiz Palace, meaning"Star Palace".
Yildiz Royal Garden:It is one of the largest public parks in Istanbul. The park is located in Yildiz quarter between the palaces of Yildiz and Ciragan. Yildiz Park was once part of the imperial garden of Yildiz Palace. Extending down the slopes from the palace, this walled park was reserved only for palace dwellers during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II.Currently Yildiz Park is a beautiful garden complex with set in a very large park flowers, plants and trees, gathered from every part of the world dating from the Ottoman era. Park grounds offer panoramic views of the Bosphorus. The park is a popular picnic place especially for the weekends.
Imperial Porcelain Factory:Opened 1895.the factory was constructed to meet the demand of the upper classes for European-style ceramics. The bowls, vases ans plates it produced often pictured idealized scenes of the Bosphorus. The building has an interesting apperarance in that it resembles a European medieval castle.
