Tour Overview
This three-hour tour will take you to the most important tourist attractions and 'characteristic' places in Montevideo.
From the Plaza Independencia, where the citadel's Door is located, you'll first visit the Solis Theater, the Executive Tower, the Palacio Salvo, and the monument to Uruguayan hero Jose Gervasio Artigas.
Following that, you'll travel along part of the main avenue '18 de Julio' to the Palacio Legislativo, a National Historic Monument. Then you'll go to the one-of-a-kind Mercado Agricola, which is housed in a historic building and sells a wide range of local products.
Finally, you'll visit the Jose Battle y Ordonez park to see the Monument to La Carreta before continuing along Montevideo's rambla (waterfront) from Pocitos to Carrasco to enjoy the relaxing views from the waterfront.
