Tour Overview
Join a sightseeing tour of Montevideo, Uruguay's capital city, and learn about the city's cultural heritage through its eclectic architecture, green spaces, and a long drive along the riverside avenue. The tour will begin in the Old City, where you will see magnificent late-nineteenth-century structures such as The Metropolitan Cathedral and Cabildo (the Old Government House). Following that, proceed along 18 de Julio Street, the main central avenue, and then straight to the Legislative Palace - The House of Parliament.
After a brief stop at the Agricultural Market, you will drive through the Battle Park to the Centenario Football Stadium, a World Football Monument. A photograph is worth taking at the Sign Montevideo, which has a beautiful backdrop of Pocitos Beach and the Kibon Center. This three-hour tour concludes in Carrasco, Montevideo's most opulent suburb.
