Tour Overview
The greatest way to see the natural splendor of Marco Island is on the 10,000 Islands Excursion. The 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge is home to what many consider to be the greatest of Florida. The journey is divided into two parts, the first of which is an intimate boating tour around the Ten Thousand Islands' secluded islands. Dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles should all be seen. Ospreys, bald eagles, ibis, roseate spoonbills, egrets, herons, and a variety of shorebird species may be seen. Your Florida Master Naturalist guide will educate you on the ecology, history, and culture of the area. The second phase of your adventure will take you to an isolated barrier island beach that can only be reached by boat. While swimming in the tidal pools of these secluded islands, learn about beach dynamics and wander across the tidal flats.
